Everpure precoat filters are certified under NSF Standard 42, Class 1, for aesthetic (meaning taste and odor) qualities. The Everpure filters are certified under NSF Standard 53 for health qualities. Ultimately, the NSF certification means that Everpure provides you with water that has reduced chlorine and other chemicals, minerals such as lime and calcium, dirt particles, and organic materials. Every Everpure product has a specification sheet that states what it filters and reduces.
About Everpure - History
Everpure was founded in 1933 as Tested Appliances. Since their beginning, Everpure has strived to ensure that the water you serve in your foodservice establishment (or your home) is sparkling clear. The basis for Everpure's success has always been their precoat technology. With a focus on improving water and through research, development and innovation, Everpure has improved their precoat technology, now called Micro-Pure precoat technology. The Everpure company was recently bought by Pentair, the global water and thermal management solutions company and it is now part of their new Water Technologies Group.
