The Ice-O-Matic ICEU070 Undercounter Ice Maker is highly sought after for its gourmet style ice cubes and its compact design. The Ice-O-Matic ICEU070 is a self-contained, air-cooled model that produces up to 84 pounds of crystal clear, cylindrical "shot glass" style ice every 24 hours (under optimal temperature conditions of 70 degrees F air and 50 degrees F water). With its narrow 15 inch wide design and built-in storage bin with a capacity of 27 pounds, the Ice-O-Matic ICEU070 can be installed in nearly any space with electricity, an incoming water line, and a drain. In addition, the Ice-O-Matic ICEU070 is just over 34 inches tall, so it can easily slide under most standard commercial counters. While the Ice-O-Matic ICEU070 does require a drain for runoff water that is not used in the ice making process, the clear, gourmet ice is hard and melts more slowly than other ice types, and so it makes the perfect compliment to high-end beverages. Many executive suites and bar applications are ideally suited for the Ice-O-Matic ICEU070.

    The cubes that this machine makes are perfect for on the rocks drinks. They recommended this machine and it was exactly what I was looking for. Make sure you buy the pump that is sold separately. (Posted on 3/25/13)
