3M SGP124BN-T Single Cartridge Espresso Machine Water Filtration System - .5 GPM

High quality espresso starts with high quality water. The 3M SGP124BN-T is a single-cartridge water filtration system, specifically designed for hard water applications. This product will reduce hardness, alkalinity and TDS (total dissolved solids) as well as chlorine taste/odor; helping to improve the appearance, consistency, and taste of your espresso and espresso based drinks. This will also reduce hard scale formation of calcium and magnesium on heating coils, using a high capacity weak acid ion-exchange resin.

These water filtration systems use a patented valve-in-head design that makes cartridge change-outs simple. They can shut off and vent water simultaneously. The cartridge design of this water filtration system is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC), which minimizes the possibility of leakage and contamination while changing cartridges. The 3/8" FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports allow for direct or easily adjustable connections to plumbing lines. p>

The SGP124BN-T has a capacity of 423 gallons. Works at 10.5 grains per gallon (1,601 liters at 180 ppm). The flow rate is 0.5 gallons per minute (1.9 liters per minute).
