This product is a replacement cartridge for the BEV145, a water filtration system. Included is a proprietary scale inhibitor blend. The HF45 is specifically designed to reduce cyst, sediment, chlorine taste and odor, utilizing IMPACT dual-zone media. There is a flow rate of up to 2.1 gallon per minute (7.9 liters per minute) with a 3.0 micron rating.

The cartridge is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) type, minimizing the possibility of leakage and contamination while changing cartidges.
