The Hoshizaki KMD-460MAJ is an air cooled ice machine that produces up to 440 pounds of crescent ice in a 24 hour period. This KMD-460MAJ modular cuber head measures 30 inches wide and is a low profile model at only 22 inches tall. The KMD-460MAJ features a durable stainless steel exterior as well as a stainless steel evaporator plate. Hoshizaki is the only ice machine manufacturer utilize a stainless steel evaporator plate, and this greatly extends the life expectancy of the evaporator. The Hoshizaki EverCheck System constantly monitors the ice machine, and provides audible alerts when problems or issues arise. Their CycleSaver Design allows the KMD-460MAJ make more ice per cycle than similar competing ice machines. This modular ice machine unit was designed to be mounted on the 30 inch Lancer soda dispenser as well. The Hoshizaki KMD-460MAJ is ideal for smaller foodservice establishments, fast food restaurants with soda dispensers, and those with low to moderate daily ice requirements.
