The Ice-O-Matic CIM0520FA/CD40022 is a 22" air-cooled ice machine that is able to produce up to 561 pounds of ice a day combined with a 22" wide hotel ice dispenser. The Ice-O-Matic CIM0520FA makes full-size cube ice that measures 7/8" x 7/8" x 7/8", making it ideal for beverages since the cube is larger and takes a while to melt. This means less dilution while the ice is cooling your beverage. For installation, the Ice-O-Matic CIM0520FA requires a 115 volt electrical connection, a water line in, and a drain for purged mineral-laden water at the end of each ice-making cycle. The 53" tall Ice-O-Matic CD40022 hotel ice dispenser requires a 115 Volt, 60Hz, 1-Phase electrical power source. The installation location also requires a drain to release any melted ice in the dispenser's bin (you can use the same drain for both the dispenser and CIM0520FA cuber head). The Ice-O-Matic CD40022 can store up to 120 pounds of ice, which works out to be around 5 and 1/2 hours of the CIM0520FA's ice production. The Ice-O-Matic CD40022 has a push activation feature, a large dispensing chute, and a wide ice filling area. Plus with Ice-O-Matic's Turbo Dispense technology, you can dispense ice at a speed of a 1/4 pound of ice per second. Together the Ice-O-Matic CIM0520FA/CD40022 cuber head and hotel ice dispenser combo measure just over 74" high with the head mounted on the dispenser. The Ice-O-Matic CIM0520FA makes a moderate amount of full-sized cube ice per day (561 LB) and the CD40022's internal bin can store 120 pounds at a time. Even if your customers or employees emptied the dispenser, the cuber head will replenish the dispenser's bin in less than 6 hours, so you should always have enough ice.
