The Scotsman Meridian model of ice machine is a countertop water and ice dispenser perfect for home and commercial kitchens in need of a steady supply of ice, and also takes up less space than a full sized ice machine.
The ice machine uses an air-cooled condenser unit to produce nugget ice that is 3/4" x 5/16" x 3/8" and makes up to 500 lb of ice per day. There is also a 40 lb capacity bin for storage on this ice machine.
LED indicator lights allow the status of the machine to easily be checked on, and a QR code allows service history and warranty information to be conveniently pulled up. Removable front panels, storage bin, sink and grill make the interior surfaces easy to clean and maintain.
The Scotsman HID540A-1 is an electric unit that runs on 115 Volts, 60Hz, single phase at 9.0 amps and includes a 7.5' power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug.
